I guess if I have tons of money and I can live my passion, I will go to film school and study cinematography. Wow.. I have not been posting at all this year. I thought I should start today as its been a pretty exciting year so far.. From Edison Chen sex pics to the winning of five Malaysian states by the opposition parties, 2008 is looking to be pretty darn "happening".

I am still reading a lot about Malaysia's General Election 2008, and its pretty interesting I must say. Singapore Politics will never get as juicy as Malaysia's, because they are so many villians in the cabinet that everyone detest. Well, BN has already had a big slap on the face, with Penang trying to demolish the New Economic Policy that favors the rich Malays, Selangor is also said to follow the footsteps. It will be interesting to see how things start to roll out. Of course everyone will want to see changes starting to happen right away, but the new state government will need sometime to takeover and start putting out results.

I think Abdullah is a nice guy, he has a heart, but like LKY said in one interview, LKY prefers to be the leader people are afraid of, than to be a leader that everyone likes. I think that sure makes a lot of sense.

Mahathir is still as vocal as ever, and why shouldn't he be, he has built UMNO and BN to the day he left and now it seems like what he built had been flushed down the toilet. I still find him funny, this man is very sharp and sarcastic at the age of 83. His take on Information Minister, Zainuddin Maidin is hilarious, I didnt expect him to crack jokes on Zainuddin who is pretty much a moron, especially after the Aljazeera Interview. Here is what Mahathir has to say:

I like this song, and am happy that there are 2 different versions. I like both versions, but am leaning towards Ringside's, I like the sultry vocals and the music video is unique. Enrique's cover version is still pretty good tho.

I do not hate Elisabeth Haselbeck, but sometimes she can say the most self righteous things that show case herself like the virgin Mary and the whole world is just a breeding ground for evil acts and terrible wrong doings. I don't agree with abortion fully, but I still believe it is an individual's decision. I know a few women who had abortions and its definitely not like a day at Disney World. I am still very worked up on the "Space Tourist" issue I must say. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor is a good choice to be the first Malaysian in space, the guy is undoubtably sporty, smart (and very good looking too). But I do find it funny the media have to mention him as the first "Muslim" Malaysian to be in space. When watching his interview on BBC last night, the guy was bombarded by local reporters on questions like "how many times will he pray in space" and "will he know which direction Mecca is". I think sometimes priorities are not set correctly in Malaysia. The main thing is to assure him to get back to Earth safely and his health is in good condition. But being a Malaysian, one must have a sense of humor, so I do find the questions funny.

I sure hope next time when they decided to put an Ah Beng in space, they will strongly mentioned that he is an Ah Beng. And Ah Beng should also be ask questions like "will the space helmet crush his "circa 2002 Beckham" hairstyle? or "Will the spaceship be big enough for Ah Beng to install music speakers and if he'll be able to bring his "Modern Talking" CD collection" to space?

This post maybe a little bit late, but like always, better late then never. The bodypump release 63 was launched last Thursday at all four Cali branches. I attended the Orchard branch launch where the theme was “Papayo” Getai theme. The opening song for the night was “bad times” from the movie soundtrack of 881. There were four instructors and they were all really fun and entertaining. I bought a little gift for the instructors and the little “huat kueh” turned out to be the special guest star of the night. I think this will have to be the best launch I have ever attended, kudos to the instructors.
